Hands all over the noodles 😣 just leave the crinkle out. Besides, in real ramen they don't have waves. If they do then walk right out of the door. In that case, wait a minute you could have saved a lot of time and just went to a ramen place which is what dried packaged ramen is a knockoff of.

I always credit the baked baking soda to Alex da French nibba. It was the first time I saw anyone come up with that solution and since his ramen series I noticed a lot of people use that recipe, making it easier for a lot of people to enjoy homemade ramen

One of my favorite quick and easy things to do is to add anywhere from a quarter to a third of a pound of mixed frozen veggies to the water before boiling. It's a dirt cheap way to make a balanced meal very quickly. For protein, I go for the ones that have peas and/or lima beans in them. This is the only place I can stand having lima beans ... Will sometimes wisk an egg and then add it when the broth is still boiling hot, stirring very quickly to get an eggy broth instead of clumps of scrambled eggs. Alternatively, I'll put it in the bottom of the bowl, because it seems to distribute better and therefore clump up a little less. Still takes rapid stirring. I also use only half a flavor packet, and if I need any more flavor, will top it off with some soy and/or sesame oil. I can get it much less salty that way.
